Today’s Spin is dedicated to my Dad. He loved music maybe even more than I do, and he loved this record. When this came out, I was in my freshman year of college, and my Dad took it in his head to buy himself a Mustang. Being as it was 1986-87, it wasn’t exactly a banner year for Mustangs, but he was so excited to have a fast car. And looks aside, that thing was powerful. He and my brother drove down to see me one Saturday, and we spent the afternoon cruising around Richmond, VA listening to this album.
